Dog photo help and questions | DogPhoto
The most important answers about suitable photos, authentic processing, delivery and privacy.
Which dog photos work best?
Use a clear photo with one complete, recognizable dog and some space around the ears, paws and tail. Soft even light, visible eyes and a calm pose help. Avoid severe blur, screenshots, collages, strong filters, digital zoom and people overlapping the dog.
Will you change the identity of my dog?
No. The visible dog is composited from your source photo. Face, fur, markings, expression and visible natural details stay recognizable. Fur edges, crop, placement, background, lighting balance and ground shadow can differ and are disclosed.
Do you process my photo before I pay?
Basic checks run on your device. With permission, bounded server checks confirm that one clearly visible dog is suitable. No personalized finished portrait or metered external image-processing call happens before verified payment.
What do I receive and can I request changes?
Each successful photo includes a full-resolution portrait, transparent PNG cutout, social crops and album ZIP download. Up to two structured refinements per image are included; technical failures do not use them.
How long are my images kept?
Unpaid uploads expire within 24 hours. Private order images normally delete seven days after delivery. An optional link-only album is a separate choice and can remain for up to 12 months from publication or renewal.
Who can see a shared album?
Results are private by default. If you explicitly publish selected portraits, anyone with the unguessable link can view them. The page is noindex, contains no customer contact details and can be unpublished, rotated or deleted by the owner.
