Made to still feel like your dog

Your dog’s face, coat, markings and expression stay recognizable. If a photo will not work, we ask for another instead of guessing hidden details.

A portrait starts with the dog you already know

A favourite dog photo is often taken on an ordinary day: a walk, a quiet afternoon or a pause before play. The expression matters more than a perfect background. DogPhoto lets you start with that photograph and choose a setting for an AI-edited portrait. Look for a source where the eyes, coat and outline are easy to see. The aim is a recognizable portrait of your individual dog; editing can change lighting, pose and fine details, so review the result rather than expecting a pixel-identical copy.

How it works: select, check, choose, pay and download

Start with one to twenty photos, each showing one clearly visible dog. Selecting files on your device is the first step; uploading follows the permission step. Browser guidance helps you notice obvious problems before you continue. The service checks the input before checkout, then you choose an available look and review the exact total. Personalized portrait processing begins after verified payment. When your order is ready, download the portrait files and album ZIP. Keep those downloads somewhere you control rather than treating an order link as a permanent backup.

Choose the picture before choosing the setting

Compare two or three original photographs at full size. A face that looks sharp as a small thumbnail can be blurred when enlarged. Prefer soft daylight, a camera close to eye level and enough space around the ears, paws and tail. A person covering the dog, another animal in the frame or a tightly cropped head can make the image unsuitable. A calm moment usually gives you a better starting point than an action shot. You do not need to force your dog into a pose; choose a comfortable setting and take a short sequence.

One set of digital files, several ways to use it

A successful paid photo includes a full-resolution portrait, a source-derived transparent PNG cutout, social crops and the album ZIP. These files have different jobs. The portrait contains the chosen background; the transparent cutout lets you place the dog into your own design; the social crops save you from starting with the full frame for every post. For printing, check the delivered file against your printer's requirements before ordering. DogPhoto supplies digital files, so paper, frames and postal delivery are arranged separately by you.

Look at examples with a purpose

Use the examples page to compare the original framing with the finished setting. Pay attention to coat markings, the eyes and the shape of the ears, as well as the background. A sample shows one input and one result, not a guarantee that another dog or photograph will behave identically. A dark coat and a bright coat can need different source lighting even when you choose the same look. Our demonstration images are labelled as examples. They are not customer reviews, endorsements or evidence that every possible photograph is accepted.

Plan a keepsake, a batch or a seasonal card

For a family keepsake, choose the photograph that feels most like your dog. For several dogs, collect one good source for each and check that you have permission to use every image. For Christmas cards, leave time to inspect the downloaded portrait and prepare your own layout, printing and postage. A transparent PNG can help with a card design, but it does not include a printed card. Start with the photo guide when you need a new source image, compare the example gallery, then use pricing to review the current offer before starting your order.

How long does it take?

Allow about 5–30 minutes. Larger albums may take longer. We email you when your portraits are ready.

Do I need an account?

No. You can choose your photos and order without an account.

What if a photo doesn’t work?

We check your photos before you pay. If a photo will not work, we ask for another photo or refund that image instead of guessing hidden details.

Is my photo private?

Yes. Your selected photos stay on your device until you choose to upload them. Unpaid uploads expire within 24 hours. Private order images normally delete seven days after delivery. An optional link-only album is a separate choice and can remain for up to 12 months from publication or renewal.

What do I receive and can I request changes?

Each finished photo includes a full-resolution portrait, a transparent PNG, social-media crops and an album ZIP. You can request up to two changes per photo.

Can I use several looks?

Each order includes one portrait style, so every photo in the album shares the same look.
